Hydro Dipped Hard Hats operates this website and sells custom hydro-dipped hard hats and related products. Throughout these terms, "we," "us," and "our" refer to Hydro Dipped Hard Hats. "You" refers to the customer, visitor, or user of this website.

By placing an order, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal authority to enter into a binding agreement.

2. Products & Accuracy

All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Because our hats are hand-dipped, the exact pattern placement, color intensity, and finish on each individual hat will vary. No two hats are identical — this is a feature of the hydro-dip process, not a defect.

Product images on our website are representative. Actual colors may vary slightly depending on your screen settings and the nature of the dip process. If you have concerns about a specific design, contact us before ordering.

We reserve the right to correct errors in product descriptions, pricing, or availability at any time without prior notice.

3. Pricing & Payment

All prices are displayed in US dollars and are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time. The price charged for an order will be the price in effect at the time the order is placed.

Payment is processed securely through Shopify Payments or other third-party processors. We do not store your credit card information on our servers. By submitting your payment information, you authorize us to charge the total amount shown at checkout, including applicable taxes and shipping fees.

If a pricing error occurs, we reserve the right to cancel the affected order and notify you. You will have the option to reorder at the correct price.

4. Orders & Cancellations

Your order is confirmed when you receive an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including orders that appear fraudulent, contain pricing errors, or cannot be fulfilled due to inventory issues.

Because each hat is hand-processed after ordering, cancellations must be requested immediately. Once production has begun, we cannot guarantee a cancellation. Please refer to our Return Policy for options after the hat has been made.

5. Shipping

Shipping terms, timeframes, and carrier information are outlined in our Shipping Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms of Service by reference.

We are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier, weather events, customs clearance, or other circumstances outside our control once the package has been handed to the carrier.

7. Safety Disclaimer

All hard hats sold by Hydro Dipped Hard Hats start as ANSI/ISEA Z89.1 Type I certified shells at the time of manufacture. The hydro-dip coating is applied to the exterior shell only and does not affect the hat's structural integrity or safety rating. Customers are responsible for confirming the required class for their specific jobsite hazards.

Hard hats must be replaced according to the manufacturer's recommendations and ANSI guidelines — generally every five years from the manufacture date, or immediately following a significant impact, even if no visible damage is present. The manufacture date is stamped inside the hat shell.

Hydro Dipped Hard Hats is not liable for injuries, damages, or losses resulting from the improper use, misuse, failure to replace, or modification of any hard hat purchased from us. It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure that the hat selected meets the specific requirements of their job site.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including but not limited to text, images, logos, graphics, and design elements — is the property of Hydro Dipped Hard Hats and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this site without our express written permission.

Some designs offered on our hats may depict flags, emblems, or publicly recognized imagery. These are offered for personal use only and do not imply any official endorsement or affiliation.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hydro Dipped Hard Hats shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or products, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim arising from a purchase shall not exceed the amount paid for the order in question.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Maryland.
